Lake George Vacation and Resort Properties

Lake George is the result of Lake George Dam on the Lake George River in Hampden County, Massachusetts and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1900. It is property of Town of Wales.

 

Lake George, the "Queen of American Lakes," is a long narrow lake at the southeast base of the Adirondack Mountains, northern New York. The lake extends about 32 miles south at a width of up to 3 miles. The Village of Lake George at the southern end is a resort center and summer vacation destination.
