Lake Happy, central Texas

Lake Happy Dam is on a tributary of Guadalupe River in Kerr County, Texas and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1974. It is owned by Kerrville State Hospital Mhmr.

 

Lake Happy Dam is of earthen construction. The foundation is rock, soil. Its height is 30 feet with a length of 810 feet. Its capacity is 84 acre feet. Normal storage is 44 acre feet. It drains an area of 0.6 square miles.
