Lake Independence Vacation and Resort Properties

Lake Independence is the result of Lake Independence Dam on the Iron River in Marquette County, Michigan. Construction was completed in 1913. At normal levels it has a surface area of 3.2 square miles. It is property of Marquette County Drain Commissioner.
