Lake Johnson City, central Texas

Lake Johnson City Dam is on the Pedernales River in Blanco County, Texas and is used for flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1967. It is owned by the City Of Johnson City.

 

Lake Johnson City Dam is buttress supported. Its height is 15 feet with a length of 590 feet. Its capacity is 1035 acre feet. Normal storage is 345 acre feet.
