Lake Joy, northeast Florida

Lake Joy Dam is on a tributary of Marshall Swamp River in Marion County, Florida and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1964. It is owned by Silver Spring Shores Inc.

 

Lake Joy is of earthen construction. Its length is 1375 feet. Its capacity is 51 acre feet. Normal storage is 51 acre feet.
