Lake Kolomoki, southwest Georgia

Lake Kolomoki Dam is on Little Kolomoki Creek in Early County, Georgia and is used for recreation purposes. It was built in 1948. It has a normal surface area of 54 acres. It is owned by the State Of Georgia.

 

Lake Kolomoki Dam is of earthen construction. Its height is 13.8 feet with a length of 675 feet. Its capacity is 373.7 acre feet. It drains an area of 12225 square miles.
