Lake Manatee Vacation and Resort Properties

Lake Manatee is formed by Lake Manatee Dam on the Manatee River in Manatee County, Florida and is used for drinking water purposes. Construction of Lake Manatee Dam was completed in 1967. It is property of Manatee Co Utilities Sys.

 

Lake Manatee is in Manatee County in western Florida. Highway 64 crosses the eastern end of the lake, while the Lake Manatee State Park is found at the southwestern end. The Manatee River flows into the lake at the eastern end, then continues to the west, where it flows into Tampa Bay.
