Lake Ming, central California
Ming, Lake is formed by Kern R Co Park Dam on a tributary of Kern River in Kern County, California and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1959. At normal levels it has a surface area of 113 acres. It is owned by Kern Co Dept Of Parks and Rec.
Kern R Co Park, also known as Ming, Lake is rock fill. Its height is 18 feet with a length of 4700 feet. Normal storage is 790 acre feet. It drains an area of 0.6 square miles.
