Lake Montebello, northeast MarylandLake Montebello Dam is fed offstream by the Herring Run in Baltimore City County, Maryland and is used for drinking water purposes. Construction was completed in 1880. At normal levels it has a surface area of 55 acres. It is owned by Baltimore Dept Of Public Works. Lake Montebello is of earthen construction. Though originally completed in 1880, the structure was modified in 1880. Its height is 30 feet with a length of 600 feet. Its capacity is 1860 acre feet. Normal storage is 1260 acre feet. It drains an area of 0.09 square miles.
