Lake Palmdale, southcentral California

Palmdale, Lake is formed by Harold Reservoir on a tributary of Antelope Val River in Los Angeles County, California and is used for irrigation purposes. Construction was completed in 1891. It has a normal surface area of 218 acres. It is owned by Palmdale Water District.

 

Harold Reservoir, also known as Palmdale, Lake is rock fill. Its height is 30 feet with a length of 2800 feet. Normal storage is 3870 acre feet. It drains an area of 4.63 square miles.
