Lake Powell Vacation and Resort Properties

Lake Powell is formed by Glen Canyon Dam on the Colorado River in Coconino County, Arizona and is used for hydroelectric power, irrigation and recreation, among other things. Construction was completed in 1963. At normal levels it has a surface area of 251 square miles. The lake property is owned by the Bureau of Reclamation.
