Lake Seminole Vacation and Resort Properties

Lake Seminole is formed by Jim Woodruff Dam on the Apalachicola River in Gadsden County, Florida and is used for improved navigation, hydroelectric power, recreation and flood control purposes. Construction of Jim Woodruff Dam was completed in 1952. At normal levels it has a surface area of 59 square miles. It is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lake property.
