Lamping Lake, east Ohio

Lamping Homes Picnic Grounds Pond is impounded by Lamping Lake on the Tributary To Clear Fork Little Muskingum River in Monroe County, Ohio and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1967. Its normal surface area is 3.9 acres. It is owned by Usda, Forest Service.

 

Lamping Lake Dam, also known as Lamping Homes Picnic Grounds Pond is of earthen construction. Its height is 29 feet with a length of 400 feet. Maximum discharge is 594 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 42 acre feet. Normal storage is 20 acre feet. It drains an area of 0.34 square miles.
