Lateral Struct1, east Florida

Lateral L Stru is the result of Lateral Struct#1 Dam on the Canal Lateral L River in Indian River County, Florida and is used for irrigation and flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1962. It is owned by Sebastian Rive.

 

Its height is 13 feet with a length of 30 feet. Maximum discharge is 139 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 1096 acre feet. Normal storage is 730 acre feet. It drains an area of 7.1 square miles.
