Lateral Struct3, east Florida

Lateral C Stru is impounded by Lateral Struct#3 Dam on the Canal Lateral C River in Indian River County, Florida and is used for irrigation and flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1962. It is owned by Sebastian Rive.

 

Its height is 16 feet with a length of 48 feet. Maximum discharge is 462 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 1900 acre feet. Normal storage is 1330 acre feet. It drains an area of 7.98 square miles.
