Lens Lake, northcentral New YorkLens Lake is on a tributary of Stony Creek in Warren County, New York and is used for recreation and flood control, among other things. Construction was completed in 1959. Its normal surface area is 120 acres. It is owned by Nys Dec and Town Of Stony Creek. Lens Lake Dam is of earthen construction, timber crib. Its height is 12 feet with a length of 165 feet. Maximum discharge is 805 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 576 acre feet. Normal storage is 384 acre feet. It drains an area of 2.3 square miles.
