Little Chute, east Wisconsin
Fox River is the result of Little Chute Dam on the Fox River in Outagamie County, Wisconsin and is used for improved navigation, flood control, drinking water and hydroelectric power purposes. It has been been there since 1932. Its normal surface area is 155 acres. It is owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
Little Chute, also known as Fox River is a gravity dam, concrete. The core is homogeneous, concrete. The foundation is rock. Though originally completed in 1932, the structure was modified in 1932. Its height is 20 feet with a length of 840 feet. Maximum discharge is 25700 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 650 acre feet. Normal storage is 400 acre feet. It drains an area of 6108 square miles.
