Locke Lake, central Minnesota

Fridley Mill Pond is formed by Locke Lake on Rice Creek in Anoka County, Minnesota and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1956. Its normal surface area is 23 acres. It is owned by the City Of Fridley.

 

Locke Lake, also known as Fridley Mill Pond is concrete, a gravity dam. Its height is 25 feet with a length of 100 feet. Maximum discharge is 3000 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 320 acre feet. Normal storage is 200 acre feet. It drains an area of 200 square miles.
