Loomis Lake, IndianaLoomis Lake is on a tributary of Flint Lake River in Porter County, Indiana and is used for drinking water purposes. It was built in 1940. At normal levels it has a surface area of 49.7 acres. It is owned by Valparaiso Water Department. Loomis Lake Dam is buttress supported. Its height is 17 feet with a length of 200 feet. Its capacity is 485 acre feet. Normal storage is 317 acre feet. It drains an area of 0.6 square miles.
