Lovell Lake, central New Hampshire
Lovell Lake is on the Branch River in Carroll County, New Hampshire and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1965. At normal levels it has a surface area of 500 acres. It is owned by Nh Water Reservoirurces Council.
Lovell Lake Dam is of earthen construction, a gravity dam. Its height is 16 feet with a length of 260 feet. Maximum discharge is 1085 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 2400 acre feet. Normal storage is 2000 acre feet. It drains an area of 4.9 square miles.
