Lower Two Medicine Lake, northwest Montana
Lower Two Medicine Lake is impounded by Lower Two Medicine Dam on Two Medicine Creek in Glacier County, Montana and is used for irrigation purposes. Construction was completed in 1967. Its normal surface area is 1.5 square miles. It is owned by Department of Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs.
Lower Two Medicine, also known as Lower Two Medicine Lake is of earthen construction, concrete, a gravity dam. Its height is -9.9 feet with a length of 1100 feet. Maximum discharge is 20600 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 25120 acre feet. Normal storage is 17210 acre feet. It drains an area of 5 square miles.
