Mathews Dam is on a tributary of Cajalco Creek in Riverside County, California and is used for irrigation purposes. It has been been there since 1938. It has a normal surface area of 4.3 square miles. It is owned by Metropolitan Water District.

 

Mathews is rock fill. Its height is 264 feet with a length of 6522 feet. Normal storage is 182000 acre feet. It drains an area of 40 square miles.
