Mcduffie Public Fishing Area Lake, northcentral Georgia

Mcduffie Public Fishing Area Lake #11 is formed by Arties Pond on the Fort Branch River in Mcduffie County, Georgia and is used for recreation purposes. At normal levels it has a surface area of 10.5 acres. It is owned by Georgia Game and Fish Division.

 

Arties Pond Dam, also known as Mcduffie Public Fishing Area Lake Dam #11 is of earthen construction. Its height is 22.4 feet with a length of 540 feet. Maximum discharge is 80 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 112.5 acre feet. Normal storage is 83.8 acre feet. It drains an area of 962 square miles.
