Millhome, southeast Wisconsin

Millhome Dam is on the Sheboygan River in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin and is used for recreation purposes. At normal levels it has a surface area of 51 acres. It is owned by Town Of Schleswig.

 

Millhome is a gravity dam, of earthen construction. Though originally completed in , the structure was modified in 1930. Its height is 11 feet with a length of 104 feet. Maximum discharge is 3595 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 250 acre feet. Normal storage is 100 acre feet. It drains an area of 168 square miles.
