Morris, southeast CaliforniaMorris Dam is on the San Gabriel River in Los Angeles County, California and is used for drinking water, irrigation, and improved navigation, among other things. It has been been there since 1935. At normal levels it has a surface area of 420 acres. It is owned by Los Angeles County Department Of Public Works. Morris is a gravity dam. Its height is 245 feet with a length of 750 feet. Normal storage is 27500 acre feet. It drains an area of 210 square miles.
