Normandy Lake Vacation and Resort Properties

Normandy Lake is the result of Normandy Dam on the Duck River in Bedford; Coffee County, Tennessee and is used for hydroelectric power purposes. Construction was completed in 1976. At normal levels it has a surface area of 3.9 square miles. The lake property is owned by the Tennessee Valley Authority.

Stones River National Battlefield (31 miles)

A fierce battle took place at Stones River between December 31, 1862 and January 2, 1863. General Bragg's Confederates withdrew after the battle, allowing General Rosecrans and the Union army to control middle Tennessee.
