Lake Mead National Recreation Area caters to boaters, swimmers, sunbathers, and fishermen while its desert rewards hikers, wildlife photographers, and roadside sightseers. Parker-Davis Dam located 8 miles north of the City of Laughlin on the Nevada side and 10 miles north of Bullhead City on the Arizona side of the Colorado River. Davis Dam Camp accomodates day use and long-term visits, and includes two cottages available for daily rental.
