Nottoway Lake, east Virginia

Nottoway Lake is formed by Nottoway Dam on Lees Creek in Nottoway County, Virginia and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1975. It has a normal surface area of 160 acres. It is owned by Department Of Game and Inland Fisheries.

 

Nottoway Dam, also known as Nottoway Lake is of earthen construction. Its height is 35 feet with a length of 980 feet. Its capacity is 3400 acre feet. Normal storage is 1700 acre feet. It drains an area of 7.03 square miles.
