Oberlin Upground Reservoir, northcentral Ohio

Oberlin Upground Reservoir is fed offstream by the in Lorain County, Ohio and is used for drinking water and recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1960. At normal levels it has a surface area of 54 acres. It is owned by the City Of Oberlin.

 

Oberlin Upground Reservoir is of earthen construction. Its height is 20 feet with a length of 6156 feet. Its capacity is 1070 acre feet. Normal storage is 880 acre feet. It drains an area of 0.09 square miles.
