Clendening Lake

The Corps' Clendening Lake was constructed primarily for flood control, recreation, fish and wildlife management. Clendening Lake has been retained in a natural setting with no commercial development except the marina. Recreation facilities are operated by the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD). For tours of Clendening Dam, Intake Structure, and Flood Control Facilities, contact the Project Supervisor @ (740) 658-3743.

Golden Age and Golden Access passports are not honored at MWCD facilities.

 

 

 

Driving Directions

Clendening Lake is approximately 10 miles southeast of Uhrichsville, Ohio. At Uhrichsville, take State Route 800 south to 1/4 mile east of Tippecanoe, Ohio. Turn onto Milarcik Road (County Road 69), approximately 1/2 mile down the road is the entrance to Clendening Dam.

 

For Visitors...

The things to do at Clendening Lake are boating, fishing, hiking, hunting and wildlife viewing. Visitors taking a northeast Ohio vacation can find camping spots, RV spaces or lodging facilities here. There's a picnic area and eating places.
