Olmstedville Pond, northeast New York

Olmstedville Pond is on Trout Creek in Essex County, New York and is used for recreation purposes. It has been been there since 1934. It has a normal surface area of 10 acres. It is owned by Town Of Minerva.

 

Olmstedville Pond Dam is timber crib, of earthen construction. Its height is 10 feet with a length of 150 feet. Maximum discharge is 500 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 35 acre feet. Normal storage is 30 acre feet. It drains an area of 36 square miles.
