Poorman Lake, Southern CaliforniaPoorman Lake is created by Pigeon Pass Dam on the Pigeon Pass River in Riverside County, California and is used for fish and wildlife protection and flood control purposes. Construction was completed in 1958. At normal levels it has a surface area of 86 acres. It is owned by Riverside County Fcwcd. Pigeon Pass, also known as Poorman Lake is rock fill. Its height is 36 feet with a length of 2915 feet. Normal storage is 900 acre feet. It drains an area of 8.71 square miles.
