Portage Lake Vacation and Resort Properties

Portage Lake is the result of Portage Lake Dam on the Tributary To Portage River in Jackson County, Michigan and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1957. At normal levels it has a surface area of 400 acres. The lake is property of Michigan Parks and Recreation.
