Powell Falls, WisconsinLower Kinnikinnic is created by Powell Falls Dam on the Kinnickinnic River in Pierce County, Wisconsin and is used for recreation and hydroelectric power purposes. It has a normal surface area of 15 acres. It is owned by the City Of River Falls. Powell Falls, also known as Lower Kinnikinnic is a gravity dam. Though originally completed in , the structure was modified in 1965. Its height is 21 feet with a length of 150 feet. Maximum discharge is 2930 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 120 acre feet. Normal storage is 65 acre feet. It drains an area of 116 square miles.
