Pushaw Lake, southcentral Maine

Pushaw Lake is on the Pushaw Stream in Penobscot County, Maine and is used for recreation, among other things. Construction was completed in 1920. It has a normal surface area of 7.9 square miles. It is owned by Kukunsook Campowners Assoc./Pushaw Lake Boat Club.

 

Pushaw Lake Dam is concrete, buttress supported, of earthen construction. Its length is 156 feet. Its capacity is 11179 acre feet. Normal storage is 7000 acre feet.
