Ralph Mills Lake, Kentucky

Ralph Mills Lake (Lower) Dam is on the Beal South Run River in Woodford County, Kentucky and is used for irrigation purposes. Construction was completed in 1964. It is owned by Ralph Mills.

 

Ralph Mills Lake Dam (lower) is of earthen construction. The foundation is assumed to be rock, soil. Its height is 18 feet with a length of 860 feet. Maximum discharge is 396 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 85 acre feet. Normal storage is 34 acre feet. It drains an area of 1.6594 square miles.
