Raysville Dam, central Indiana

Raysville Dam is on Buck Creek in Henry County, Indiana and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1920. At normal levels it has a surface area of 5.8 acres. It is owned by Henry County Commissioners.

 

Raysville Dam is of earthen construction. Its height is 23 feet with a length of 400 feet. Its capacity is 55 acre feet. Normal storage is 26 acre feet. It drains an area of 1.46 square miles.
