Round Lake, central Minnesota

Round Lake is on a tributary of Rice Creek in Ramsey County, Minnesota and is used for drinking water, among other things. Construction was completed in 1960. It is owned by Fed Cartridge Corp.

 

Round Lake is of earthen construction. Its length is 90 feet. Maximum discharge is 469 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 2196 acre feet. Normal storage is 1830 acre feet.
