Round Top Pond, Rhode Island
Round Top Pond is on the Roundtop Brook in Providence County, Rhode Island and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1905. It has a normal surface area of 10 acres. It is owned by the State Of R.I., Dept Of Env. Mgmt., Div. Of F and Wl.
Round Top Pond Dam is a gravity dam, of earthen construction. Its height is 14 feet with a length of 140 feet. Maximum discharge is 2076 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 60 acre feet. Normal storage is 50 acre feet. It drains an area of 9 square miles.
