Rubicon, northcentral CaliforniaRubicon Dam is on the Rubicon River in El Dorado County, California and is used for irrigation, improved navigation, among other things. Construction was completed in 1963. Its normal surface area is 108 acres. It is owned by Sacramento Mun Utility District. Rubicon is a gravity dam. Its height is 36 feet with a length of 635 feet. Normal storage is 1450 acre feet. It drains an area of 26.44 square miles.
