It has a normal surface area of 28 acres. It is owned by the City Of Saline. Saline River Dam is a gravity dam, of earthen construction. Its height is 19 feet with a length of 762 feet. Maximum discharge is 6000 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 1620 acre feet. Normal storage is 240 acre feet. It drains an area of 76.6 square miles.
