Salt Fork Lake, northeast Ohio

Salt Fork Lake is on Salt Fork Creek in Guernsey County, Ohio and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1968. It has a normal surface area of 4.7 square miles. It is owned by Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Division Of Parks and Recreation.

 

Salt Fork Lake Dam is of earthen construction. Its height is 61 feet with a length of 1500 feet. Maximum discharge is 28903 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 152900 acre feet. Normal storage is 41100 acre feet. It drains an area of 160 square miles.
