Serene Lake, southeast MichiganSerene Lake is on a tributary of South Branch Shiawassee River in Livingston County, Michigan and is used for recreation purposes. Construction was completed in 1960. It has a normal surface area of 22 acres. It is owned by Livingston County Road Commission. Serene Lake Dam is of earthen construction. Its height is 15 feet with a length of 350 feet. Its capacity is 200 acre feet. Normal storage is 130 acre feet.
