Shadow Lake, northcentral New Jersey
Shadow Lake is on Quioley Creek in Monmouth County, New Jersey and is used for recreation purposes. It has been been there since 1931. At normal levels it has a surface area of 83 acres. It is owned by Monmouth County Board Of Freeholders.
Shadow Lake Dam is of earthen construction, a gravity dam. Its height is 16 feet with a length of 600 feet. Maximum discharge is 1916 cubic feet per second. Normal storage is 310 acre feet. It drains an area of 7 square miles.
