Sheboygan Marsh, southeast Wisconsin
Sheboygan Marsh Dam is on the Sheboygan River in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin and is used for recreation and fish and wildlife protection purposes. At normal levels it has a surface area of 1.1 square miles. It is owned by Sheboygan County.
Sheboygan Marsh is a gravity dam, of earthen construction. Though originally completed in , the structure was modified in 1938. Its height is 17 feet with a length of 100 feet. Maximum discharge is 2800 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 5000 acre feet. Normal storage is 2000 acre feet. It drains an area of 84 square miles.
