Shenango River Lake Vacation and Resort Properties

Shenango River Lake is the result of Shenango Dam on the Shenango River in Mercer County, Pennsylvania and is used for flood control and recreation purposes. Construction of Shenango Dam was completed in 1965. At normal levels it has a surface area of 5.6 square miles. It is a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers lake property.

 

 

Situated within the suburban Shenango Valley, Shenango River Lake provides an attractive setting for your enjoyment. Visitors may choose to spend their day picnicking, camping, or enjoying nature's beauty at one of the many recreation or access areas located on the project.
