Smithers Lake Vacation and Resort Properties

Smithers Lake is created by Smithers Lake Dam on Dry Creek in Fort Bend County, Texas and is used for drinking water and flood control purposes. Construction of Smithers Lake Dam was completed in 1957. At normal levels it has a surface area of 3.9 square miles. The site is also known as Lake George. It is property of Houston Lighting And Power Company.
