Snelling Lake, southcentral Minnesota

Fort Snelling State Park is the result of Snelling Lake Outlet Dam on a tributary of Minnesota River in Hennepin County, Minnesota. Construction was completed in 1965. It is owned by the State Of Mn.

 

Its length is 6 feet. Maximum discharge is 699 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 1232 acre feet. Normal storage is 896 acre feet.
