Jackson Gulch Reservoir is located 5 miles north of Mancos, Colorado, and 10 miles from Mesa Verde National Park, a World Heritage Site. McPhee Reservoir is the principal feature of the Dolores Project in southwestern Colorado. Dolores River runs from the rugged La Plata Mountains through deep-red canyons toward the Colorado River in Utah.
