Structure 191, east Florida

Structure 191 Dam is on the Canal 59 and Nubbin Slough River in Okeechobee County, Florida and is used for flood control and drinking water purposes. Construction was completed in 1971. It is owned by Sfwmd (Past C&Sf Flood Control District).

 

Maximum discharge is 7440 cubic feet per second. Its capacity is 3688 acre feet. Normal storage is 2479 acre feet.
